Rachel Friend

Rachel Amanda Friend, born on January 8, 1970, is a multifaceted Australian actress and journalist known for her significant contributions to the entertainment industry. Early in her career, Friend showcased her talent in various television series, including Zoo Family, Prime Time, and The Bartons. She gained further recognition with her role in the 1986 family adventure film Frog Dreaming.

In 1988, at the age of eighteen, Friend joined the cast of the renowned soap opera Neighbours, portraying the character Bronwyn Davies. Her decision to temporarily set aside her university studies for this opportunity proved fruitful, as she quickly became a beloved figure on the show. She departed from Neighbours in 1990, the same year she was honored with the Logie Award for Most Popular Actress, marking a significant milestone in her career.
