Leni Robredo
Ma. Leonor "Leni" Gerona Robredo, born on April 23, 1965, is a distinguished Filipina lawyer, politician, and advocate for social change, currently serving as the 14th Vice President of the Philippines. Before assuming her vice presidential role in 2016, she represented the 3rd district of Camarines Sur in the House of Representatives from 2013 to 2016.
Robredo gained national recognition when she won the vice presidential election against Bongbong Marcos, securing her victory by a narrow margin of 263,473 votes. Subsequent findings by the Supreme Court later increased her lead to 278,566 votes, affirming her position in a highly contested race.
