Selena Castro
Selena Castro, a Mexican-American writer, was born in Long Beach, California, and grew up in Henderson, Nevada, as one of six siblings in a family of immigrant origins. She pursued her education at California State University, Long Beach, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2018, complemented by a Minor in Film that focused on Screenwriting.
During her academic journey, Selena gained invaluable experience through an internship at Di Novi Pictures. There, she immersed herself in the development process, engaging with numerous scripts and offering critical feedback, which honed her skills in storytelling and narrative analysis.
