Violeta Cárcova

Violeta Cárcova is a multifaceted Argentinian filmmaker, recognized for her roles as a director, assistant director, screenwriter, and producer. Her artistic journey began in her childhood, where she honed her skills in musical theater, immersing herself in the realms of acting, singing, and dance. With a passion for cinema, Violeta pursued her studies in Film Direction at the Cinema University of Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In addition to her film education, she has expanded her expertise in dramaturgy under the guidance of various mentors, contributing her talents to numerous projects across film, advertising, and theatrical productions. Currently, she leads her own production company, Mayka, where she continues to develop innovative content.

Violeta's impressive career took a significant turn in 2024 when she made her debut on the big screen as an actress in the film "The Astronaut Lovers," directed by the esteemed Marco Berger.
