Alison Stolpa

1 title Acting

Alison Stolpa made her way to Los Angeles after earning a Master’s degree in Music Business Studies from the University of Westminster in London, channeling her impressive knack for memorizing song lyrics and album credits into her acting career.

Inspired by indie film icon Parker Posey in "Party Girl," Alison has carved a niche for herself in the acting world, often embodying two distinct character archetypes: the witty, rock 'n' roll misfit and the astute, sometimes unpredictable intellect. Her recent performance in "I'll Be Around" (2020) showcased her talent as she played a flamboyant synth musician eager to secure a spot at the most coveted post-punk music festival. This role contributed to the film winning the Best Indie Film Award at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival.

Beyond her acting endeavors, Alison is also a former record store employee and cheesemonger. Currently, she is working on a variety of projects, including a short film that satirizes the pitfalls of online wellness programs, a web series exploring the absurdities of starting a cult for both business and pleasure, and a feature film that delves into themes of desire, ennui, and obsession within the Los Angeles music scene.

In addition to her creative pursuits, Alison proudly shares that she advanced a grade in high school French, has an impressive collection of vintage faux fur coats, and has successfully kept her houseplants alive for the past six months.
