Mahat Raghavendra
Mahat Raghavendra is a talented actor who began his journey in film after earning a degree from Hindustan College of Arts and Science. He made his entry into the industry in 2006, when he landed a minor role in the film "Vallavan," directed by the multifaceted Silambarasan. Initially, Mahat was set to debut in the Tamil adaptation of the popular Telugu movie "Ullasamga Utsahamga" in 2008, but that project ultimately did not materialize.
A close friend of producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri, Mahat's breakthrough came with Venkat Prabhu's "Mankatha," released in August 2011. In this film, he portrayed a bar owner from Dharavi alongside seasoned stars like Ajith Kumar, Arjun, and Vaibhav Reddy. The film received both critical acclaim and box office success, earning Mahat the Edison Award for Best Debut Actor, marking a significant milestone in his career.
In addition to his film work, Mahat gained further recognition as a contestant on the popular reality show "Bigg Boss Tamil 2," aired on Star Vijay, showcasing his versatility as an entertainer.
