Carla Kidd
Carla Harmon Kidd is a talented American actress hailing from Oklahoma, whose passion for the performing arts ignited at the tender age of six. Her memorable debut took place during her Vacation Bible School's final program, where she captivated an audience of parents by dramatically draping herself over a piano and singing "Jesus Loves Me," much to the astonishment of her teachers. After earning a Bachelor of Theatre Arts, Carla spent two seasons with the Repertory Theatre of America’s national touring company, honing her craft.
In 2020, she shifted her focus to the film industry and has since expanded her repertoire to include film, television, short films showcased at festivals, commercials, and innovative new media projects. Carla’s deep roots in character-driven storytelling and visual arts allow her to go beyond acting; she actively engages in writing, script development, location scouting, and costume design for her projects.
Currently based in Dallas and holding SAG eligibility, Carla is dedicated to collaborating on narrative-centered projects that delve into themes of human conflict, redemption, and complex female characters. Her contributions to the industry reflect her commitment to creating compelling stories that resonate with audiences.
