Lucie Arnaz
Lucie Arnaz, a celebrated Emmy Award-winning actress, is the daughter of iconic television figures Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball, and the sister of actor Desi Arnaz Jr. Her career began in the spotlight at a young age, notably appearing alongside her mother on the beloved series Here’s Lucy from 1968 to 1974. As the years progressed, Arnaz carved out her own niche in the television landscape. She portrayed Elizabeth Short, the infamous murder victim, in the 1975 NBC telefilm Who is the Black Dahlia? and showcased her talents in the Disney special Welcome to the "World," celebrating the opening of Space Mountain at Walt Disney World.
Throughout the late 1970s and into the 1990s, Arnaz made memorable guest appearances in numerous popular shows, including Fantasy Island, Murder, She Wrote, and Will & Grace. She also ventured into her own series with The Lucie Arnaz Show on CBS, which aired briefly in 1985.
In film, she gained recognition for her role in The Jazz Singer (1980), earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. However, it is in the theater where Arnaz has truly shined. Making her Broadway debut in 1979 in They’re Playing Our Song, she garnered both a Theatre World Award and a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award. Her talents were further recognized when she received the Sarah Siddons Award in 1986 for her work in My One and Only. In 2000, she made her London stage debut in the musical The Witches of Eastwick, solidifying her status as a versatile performer across multiple mediums.
