Carmen Gloria Pérez, a multifaceted talent, was born in The Bronx, New York, and relocated to Puerto Rico at the age of ten. A writer, artist, award-winning actress, and dedicated U.S. Army veteran, she served six years on active duty starting at just 17 years old. Carmen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University and boasts an impressive acting portfolio with over 60 credits. Her television appearances include roles in popular series such as *Nip/Tuck*, *Everybody Hates Chris*, and the film *He’s Just Not That Into You*.

In addition to her acting career, Carmen has made significant contributions to the film industry by writing, producing, directing, and editing various short films and music videos, one of which was honored as an Official Selection at Los Angeles CineFest. She received the Best Supporting Actress award at the Valley Theatre League Artistic Director Achievement Awards in 2003 for her performance in Layon Gray's play *Soldiers Don’t Cry*.

Carmen is also an accomplished musician, with two songs, "Emergency" and "Overload," charting on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play and UK Commercial Pop Charts. Her latest EP, *The Art Of Love*, was nominated for Best Jazz EP by the Independent Music Awards in 2019. Recently, she penned and illustrated her first children's book, *Thank You Mercury!*, inspired by her passion for space.

Currently residing in Norway, Carmen has appeared in two Norwegian television series, including a recurring role in the comedy *Det Kunne Vært Verre* and a featured part in the NRK series *Magnus*. Fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Norwegian, Carmen continues to pursue her diverse artistic endeavors.
