Joseph Antony Bernays, known professionally as Joe Van Moyland and Joe Lean, is an English singer, drummer, and actor. He gained prominence as the frontman of the band Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, and he previously showcased his drumming skills with The Pipettes. In the realm of acting, his most notable role was as composer Thomas Tallis in the acclaimed historical drama series The Tudors.

Bernays has made appearances in various television shows, with significant roles in Peep Show as Jamie, Sophie's brother, and Nathan Barley as Mudd.
