Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, born on April 17, 1987, in Windsor, Ontario, is a multifaceted Canadian actress, disc jockey, singer, and television host. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Olivia Castle in the horror film "Final Destination 5," released in 2011, and for portraying Steffy Forrester on the long-running CBS soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful," a role she has held since 2008. Her outstanding work on the show has earned her four Daytime Emmy Award nominations, culminating in a win for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2019.
Wood's diverse heritage includes indigenous Cree, Scottish, French, and Brazilian roots. She is the daughter of Alexandra (Sandie) MacInnes and James C. Wood, and her half-sister, Dani Probert, was married to the late NHL player Bob Probert. Her great-uncle, Alasdair Gillies, was a celebrated Scottish Highland singer. Jacqueline honed her acting skills at Ryerson University, the Centre for the Arts, and the Armstrong Acting Studio.
