Tony Visconti
Anthony Edward Visconti, born on April 24, 1944, is a distinguished American record producer, musician, and singer renowned for his influential contributions to the music industry since the late 1960s. His career took off with T. Rex's iconic 1970 hit "Ride a White Swan," marking the beginning of a fruitful partnership with the legendary Marc Bolan. However, Visconti is perhaps best known for his extensive collaboration with David Bowie, which spanned several decades. From producing Bowie's 1968 tracks "In the Heat of the Morning" and "London Bye Ta-Ta" to his work on the artist's final album, *Blackstar*, released in 2016, Visconti's creative influence played a pivotal role in shaping Bowie's sound.
His production on *Blackstar* earned him the Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, recognizing his exceptional skill in music production.
