Belinda Emmett

Belinda Emmett was a talented Australian actress and singer, celebrated for her impactful performances in popular television series. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Rebecca Fisher/Nash in the long-running drama "Home and Away" and later starred as Jodi Horner in "All Saints." Belinda’s career, however, faced a significant challenge when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 24 in 1998.

During her treatment, which involved surgery to remove a malignant tumor followed by six weeks of radiotherapy, she temporarily stepped away from her role in "Home and Away," with the character being portrayed by Megan Connolly in her absence. In her personal life, Belinda found happiness when she married renowned Australian television host and comedian Rove McManus on January 29, 2005.
