Kirill Pletnyov

Kirill Pletnev was born on December 30, 1979, in Kharkov, Ukraine. Shortly after his birth, his family relocated to Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), where he spent his formative years. In 1996, Pletnev enrolled at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatrical Arts (SPGATI), graduating in 2000. Following his academic achievements, he began to perform sporadically in various theaters across Moscow.

Eventually, Pletnev joined the Moscow Drama Theatre, under the leadership of notable director Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, marking a significant step in his career as he settled in Russia's capital. In the spring of 2003, he made a pivotal decision to leave the theater to collaborate with the acclaimed director Irina Kerutchenko, which opened new avenues for his artistic expression.

Throughout his career, Kirill Pletnev has garnered recognition for his versatility as an actor, engaging audiences with his compelling performances. His contributions to Russian theater and film have not only showcased his talent but also highlighted his dedication to the craft.
