Garrett Warren is a former stuntman who has successfully transitioned into a distinguished writer and director, leaving his mark on the film industry with his expertise in action choreography. He has contributed to blockbuster hits such as "Avatar," "Logan," "Alice in Wonderland," "Divergent," "Real Steel," "Alita: Battle Angel," and the upcoming "Avatar" sequels. As a former World Champion Martial Artist, Warren has shared his knowledge of fight choreography with numerous prominent actors, including Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Kate Hudson, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Warren's journey into writing began with a collaborative project alongside actress Zoe Saldana, which has since expanded into the comic book arena with the launch of "Blanket." His creative endeavors showcase his versatility beyond the realm of stunts.

Tragically, on May 20, 2000, Warren endured a life-altering event when he was shot four times in the face and upper body by an assailant in his Westlake Village apartment, resulting in the loss of an eye. His ex-wife, Claudia Haro, later pleaded no contest to conspiracy in two murder attempts against him and received a 12-year prison sentence. Despite these challenges, Warren maintains close friendships, notably with actor Casper Van Dien, with whom he shares the role of godfather to each other’s children.
