Dallas Lawrence Jenkins, born on July 25, 1975, is a notable filmmaker and director best known for his innovative contributions to the realm of faith-based entertainment. At just 25 years old, he produced the $2 million independent film *Hometown Legend*, successfully securing distribution through Warner Bros. His directorial journey began with the short film *Cliché*, praised by FilmThreat for its clever humor. Jenkins then directed *Midnight Clear*, featuring Stephen Baldwin, which earned the prestigious Crystal Heart Award at the Heartland Film Festival and was recognized as the opening night selection at the San Diego Film Festival.

In 2006, he took on the role of co-executive producer for *Though None Go with Me*, a film based on his father's writing that aired on The Hallmark Channel. Jenkins made his feature film directorial debut with *Midnight Clear*, a longer adaptation of his earlier short, which garnered acclaim at various film festivals, including the "Best First Feature" award at the Cinequest Film Festival.

His 2010 film *What If...*, starring notable actors like Kevin Sorbo, further established his career in filmmaking.
