Kate Trotter, born on February 5, 1953, is a distinguished Canadian actress known for her versatile performances across film, television, and theater.
Her television career boasts a variety of roles in notable series, such as Wild Roses, Covert Affairs, Lost Girl, and The Newsroom, along with appearances in Paradise Falls, Earth: Final Conflict, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, The Jane Show, Republic of Doyle, Blue Murder, Murdoch Mysteries, and Sue Thomas F.B. Eye. Trotter’s filmography includes significant works like Beyond Borders, Joshua Then and Now, and Taking a Chance on Love. In recognition of her talent, she received a Gemini Award for Best Guest Actress in a Dramatic Series in 2003 for her role in Blue Murder.
