Richard Locke
Richard Locke was born to Clayton Eugene and Bessie Jewel Holt Locke and was the third of four siblings, joining his older brother Clay Jr. and sister Janet, as well as his younger brother Robert.
Throughout his life, Richard made significant contributions to the gay community, especially during the early years of the AIDS epidemic, which would eventually escalate into a global pandemic. His advocacy work is widely recognized, earning him the title of "AIDS Hero" among many in the community. Richard dedicated over thirteen years to fighting the disease, using his experiences to raise awareness and educate others on how to cope with HIV/AIDS.
