Runny Rudiyanti

Runny Rudiyanti is a talented Indonesian actress celebrated for her notable performances in the short film 'Kisah 3 Tahun,' which she both produced and starred in. Additionally, she gained recognition for her compelling roles in 'Grave Torture' and 'Drama Ratu Drama.'

Transitioning to acting in mid-2020, Runny left her previous career in a prominent tech decacorn and as an anchor for a global news television network. She began her acting journey by partnering with film students on short films and quickly expanded her repertoire to include various shorts, series, and feature-length films. Embracing her childhood dream, Runny has reignited her passion for acting, bringing a newfound intensity and enthusiasm to her performances.

Armed with a Master’s degree in International Business from the UK, she pursued further training in acting through workshops in both Indonesia and abroad, notably at the Birmingham School of Acting and Bengkel Akting Kuma.

In December 2023, Runny achieved a significant milestone by earning certification from the Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA). Completing a specialized training program sponsored by Amazon Studios SEA, she learned under the guidance of Amanda Blumenthal, the IPA founder and the first intimacy coordinator in Los Angeles. This certification is the foundation of Runny’s commitment to fostering a safe environment for actors during intimate scenes while enhancing the creative storytelling process.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Runny co-founded HerDreams in 2017, a social organization dedicated to promoting education for young girls. She is proficient in Indonesian, English, and has a fundamental understanding of Mandarin Chinese.
