Andrew Wyatt
Andrew Wyatt Blakemore, born on May 15, 1971, is a prominent American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Hailing from Manhattan, New York, Wyatt's musical journey began in local bands such as The A.M. and Black Beetle. He rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the Swedish electronic pop group Miike Snow, which made a significant impact with its self-titled debut album in 2009. Wyatt continued to build on this success with two additional albums from the band, along with his solo endeavor, *Descender*, released in 2013 through Downtown Records.
In addition to his work with Miike Snow, Wyatt has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, crafting songs for notable names like Liam Gallagher, Lady Gaga, Lorde, and Bruno Mars. His songwriting prowess has earned him two nominations for the prestigious Song of the Year Grammy Award. A crowning achievement in his career came in 2019 when he received an Academy Award for Best Original Song for his collaboration on "Shallow," alongside Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, and Anthony Rossomando, featured in the film *A Star is Born*.
