Maria Takagi, born on October 25, 1978, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is a versatile actress known for her work in television and film, as well as her previous career in the adult entertainment industry. Early in her modeling career, she was known by the aliases Yukiko Hara and Rika Inoue.

Takagi made her mark in the entertainment world with the release of her gravure photo album, "Nishi-Shinjuku Love Story," in June 1998. She ventured into film shortly thereafter, appearing in the romantic feature "Yoi Yume Yakei," directed by Shuji Kataoka, in August 1998. Under the name Rika Inoue, she modeled for the magazine Urecco in late 1998 and later published a nude photobook titled "Blue" in December 2000.
