Sav Rodgers
Hailing from Kansas, Sav Rodgers is a talented filmmaker and screenwriter known for his compelling narratives that spotlight the diverse experiences of queer individuals. He is the visionary behind the upcoming feature documentary, *Chasing Chasing Amy*, which delves into the intricate legacy of Kevin Smith's film, *Chasing Amy*, and its significant impact on both the LGBTQ+ community and Sav's personal journey. His insights on this topic were shared in a TED Talk titled "The rom-com that saved my life."
In 2022, Sav co-wrote the screenplay *I Love You, Margot Robbie* with Taylor Gates, which gained recognition by making it onto The GLAAD List. He completed his studies at the University of Kansas in 2017 and has since been involved in prestigious programs, including the Outfest Screenwriting Lab, the Producers Guild of America’s PGA Create initiative, the TED Residency, and the Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium.
