Bianca Jagger

Bianca Jagger, born Blanca Pérez-Mora Macías on May 2, 1945, is a prominent Nicaraguan activist and former actress renowned for her advocacy in social and human rights. As a distinguished figure in humanitarian efforts, she currently holds the position of goodwill ambassador for the Council of Europe. Jagger is also the founder and chair of the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting human rights globally. Additionally, she is a member of the Executive Director's Leadership Council at Amnesty International USA and serves as a trustee for the Amazon Charitable Trust, reflecting her commitment to environmental and social justice.
