Maxine Eloi, a talented and classically trained actor, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Boston University. As a first-generation American, she has roots that trace back to the picturesque island of Haiti, and her upbringing involved a journey between the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest.

Driven by ambition and creativity, Maxine has always been dedicated to her craft, and her educational pursuits reflect this commitment. In addition to her undergraduate studies, she expanded her theatrical expertise at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts. Since completing her degree, Maxine has made a name for herself across film, television, and theatre. Notable performances include her portrayal of Lady Anne in *Richard III*, Rina in the short film *Sunday Fun Day*, and Eve Scott in the acclaimed piece *Aghast*. Her insights and experiences were recently shared on NPR's *The State of Things*, where she was featured as a guest by host Frank Stasio.

Beyond acting, Maxine excels in filmmaking as a director and producer at MiRu Productions, a company she co-founded to create innovative media projects. In addition to her artistic endeavors, she enjoys hula hoop performances, painting, and actively contributes to the arts community as a board member of the Women’s Theatre Festival of North Carolina.
