Mohan Agashe

Mohan Agashe is a distinguished Indian actor recognized for his contributions to both the Marathi and Hindi cinema. He launched his acting career with the film *Samna* in 1974 and continued to build a diverse portfolio with significant roles in *Aakrosh* (1980), *Mashaal* (1984), and *Rihaee* (1988). His international appeal was highlighted with his performance in *Mississippi Masala* (1991) and further showcased in *Target* (1995).

In 1996, Agashe received the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award from the Government of India, acknowledging his exceptional talent in the performing arts. His filmography is extensive, featuring notable works such as *Ab Tak Chappan* (2004), *Jism 2* (2012), *Jolly LLB* (2013), *Deool Band* (2015), *Welcome Zindagi* (2015), *Sarpanch Bhagirath* (2016), and *Lost & Found* (2016).
