David Barroso

David Barroso Jr., affectionately known by various nicknames, including David Villa, grew up in Astoria, Queens, New York City, as the youngest in a large family of eleven. His upbringing in a bustling household shaped his character and inspired his creative pursuits. David attended Long Island City High School before continuing his education at Queensborough Community College.

From a young age, he immersed himself in the performing arts at H.B. Studios while also taking up boxing as a means to stay focused and off the streets. His dedication to acting led him to advanced training at the prestigious NYU Master Class and the Actors Studio, where he honed his craft.

David is currently seeking a publisher for his autobiography titled "Falling Down but Not Staying Down." This compelling narrative recounts his tumultuous journey from the challenges of his youth—struggles with substance abuse and incarceration—to his transformation into a compassionate individual devoted to helping others. Now residing in Los Angeles, California, David spends his time volunteering at nursing and rehabilitation centers, where he brings joy and laughter to elderly residents, whom he believes are often overlooked by society.
