Jerry Yan

Jerry Yan, originally named Liao Yangzhen and also recognized as Yan Chengxu, is a celebrated Taiwanese actor and singer who gained immense popularity as a member of the renowned boy band F4. His breakout role as Daoming Si in the beloved Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, along with its sequel Meteor Garden II, launched him into stardom throughout Asia.

After the success of Meteor Garden, Jerry continued to perform with F4, collaborating with fellow members Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu, and Ken Chu, and together they released three studio albums. In parallel to his contributions to the group, Jerry carved out a successful solo career in both music and acting.

In 2004, he debuted as a solo artist with the album Jerry for You, which featured the hit single "One Meter." This track gained significant traction, earning a place on Hit Fm Taiwan's annual chart and helping the album secure a position among the Top 10 Selling Mandarin Albums at the 2004 IFPI Hong Kong Album Sales Awards.

Jerry's second studio album, Freedom, released in 2009, marked another milestone in his career, achieving the highest ranking for a male artist in the Chinese Song Albums category on Japan's prestigious Oricon Chart. In Taiwan, it was celebrated as the ninth best-selling album of the year according to G-Music. Through his diverse talents and enduring popularity, Jerry Yan has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry.
