Edward Atterton

Edward Atterton, born on January 24, 1962, in Birmingham, England, is a distinguished English actor known for his versatile performances across both British and American television. He made his television debut in 1993 with an episode of ITV's acclaimed series Poirot. That same year, he gained recognition for his recurring role as Dr. Alex Taylor in the ITV drama Medics, which showcased his talent in a compelling narrative.

In the late 1990s, Atterton expanded his career to the United States, where he appeared in the 1998 film adaptation of The Man In The Iron Mask. He also starred in the WB network’s brief spy series Three, marking his entry into American television. His impressive range led him to notable roles in popular sci-fi and fantasy series, including Alias, Firefly, and Charmed. A standout performance came in 2003 when he portrayed Duncan Idaho in the Sci-Fi Channel's adaptation of Frank Herbert's epic, Children of Dune.
