Neil Gresham

Neil Gresham has been a prominent figure in the British climbing community for over thirty years, excelling in diverse climbing disciplines such as sport climbing, deep water soloing, traditional climbing, and winter climbing. His impressive portfolio includes a multitude of challenging first ascents worldwide, meticulously logged in his newly published routes log. Among his notable achievements is the 2012 route named Olympiad in Pembroke, recognized as the hardest deep water solo in the UK.

Despite being a father of two in his late 40s and early 50s, Neil's climbing prowess has not waned. He reached new heights by completing Lexicon E11 7a in the Lake District—his most challenging traditional route to date. Additionally, he achieved significant milestones in sport climbing, securing first ascents of two of his hardest routes: Sabotage at a grade of 8c+ in Malham and Freakshow at 8c in Kilnsey.
