Fahadh Faasil
Fahadh Faasil, born on August 8, 1982, is a prominent Indian actor and film producer celebrated for his contributions to the Malayalam cinema. Over his career, he has appeared in more than 40 films, earning numerous accolades including a National Film Award, four Kerala State Film Awards, and three Filmfare Awards South. As the son of renowned filmmaker Fazil, Fahadh entered the film industry at the young age of 19, debuting in the lead role of his father's 2002 romantic drama, Kaiyethum Doorath, though the film did not perform well at the box office.
After a seven-year hiatus, he returned to the silver screen with a powerful performance in the 2009 anthology film Kerala Cafe, specifically in the segment titled Mrityunjayam. His breakthrough came with the 2011 thriller Chaappa Kurishu, where he portrayed Arjun, earning him significant public attention and his first Kerala State Film Award for Best Supporting Actor, which he shared for his work in Akam as well. Fahadh solidified his status as a talented actor with standout performances in 22 Female Kottayam (2012) as Cyril and in Diamond Necklace (2012) as Dr. Arun Kumar. His role in 22 Female Kottayam also garnered him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
