Lynn Farleigh
Lynn Farleigh, hailing from Bristol, is a distinguished actress trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She launched her theatrical journey in repertory theatre at Salisbury and has since collaborated extensively with prestigious companies such as the English Shakespeare Company (ESC), the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), and the National Theatre. A standout in her recent performances, she garnered praise for her role in the critically acclaimed production of “Three Days in the Country.”
Farleigh has made her mark in classic Shakespearean roles, portraying characters such as Helena in "All's Well That Ends Well," Viola, Hermione, Lady Anne, Titania, Portia, and Lady Macbeth. Her television credits are extensive, featuring memorable appearances in series such as "Steptoe and Son," "Pride and Prejudice," "Finney," "Wycliffe" (as Helen), as well as "Midsomer Murders." More recent roles include parts in "Vera," "Lightfields," "Casualty," "EastEnders," and "Silent Witness."
In addition to her acting career, Lynn is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of talent, having directed eight plays for the British American Drama Academy, with her latest adaptation being “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.” Residing in north Oxfordshire, she shares her home with her actor husband and a beloved, elderly three-legged cat named Lucie.
