A long-time resident of New York City, she began her journey in the performing arts at the age of 19, training in London and quickly establishing herself in acting and modeling.

During World War II, Robinson joined the USO, bringing joy to troops stationed in Africa and Italy through her performances. After the war, she transitioned to radio, working with the Dupont Radio Hour, before committing to a full-time acting career.

Robinson graced the stage in fifteen Broadway productions, collaborating with renowned directors such as Elia Kazan, Franco Zeffirelli, John Gielgud, and George S. Kaufman. Notably, she served as a standby for the legendary Vivien Leigh in "Duel of Angels." Her talent also led her to Off-Broadway and regional theaters.

In film, she appeared in notable works like "Diary of a Mad Housewife" and had significant roles in daytime television, including a memorable stint as Judith Lodge Raven on "Love of Life" from 1954 to 1957, where she played the ex-wife of Paul Raven.

More recently, she was recognized for her quirky character Garol in the popular series "Broad City," which honored her on their website two years ago. Robinson continued to audition and perform until a stroke at the age of 98, leaving a lasting legacy in the entertainment industry.
