Josh Pugh

Josh Pugh is a talented comedian and writer who began his career in stand-up in 2014. His rapid rise in the comedy scene saw him clinch multiple accolades, including victories at the Birmingham Comedy Festival and Nottingham Comedy Festival in 2015, as well as being named Midland New Act of the Year in both 2014 and 2015. In 2016, Pugh achieved further recognition by winning the prestigious English Comedian of the Year award.

Pugh has made notable television appearances on popular shows such as “Mock the Week,” “Hypothetical,” “Rosie Jones's Disability Comedy Extravaganza,” “Question Team,” and “Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable.” His acting credits include a role in the series “Sneakerhead.” Beyond performing, he has contributed his writing skills to a variety of shows, including “8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown,” “Never Mind The Buzzcocks,” “Newsjack,” and “The Now Show.”

In addition to his comedy career, Pugh co-hosts the podcast “Josh And Phil's Knowledge Club” with Phil Pagett.
