Her journey in the arts began at just five years old, entertaining her community in Poughkeepsie, New York, and later participating in college productions while also performing for U.S.O. events in Army hospitals.
Fields garnered critical acclaim for her roles, particularly in the Theatre West production of "Like One Of The Family," which earned her both the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award and a Drama Logue Award. Reviewers lauded her performance as Beth/Consuelo, with praises describing her as "dizzy and delightful" (Frontiers) and a "showstopper" (Hollywood Reporter).
