Giorgio Lupano
Giorgio Lupano was born on October 5, 1969, in Trofarello, located in the Piedmont region of Italy. He is a talented actor recognized for his performances in films such as The International (2009), Fear of Loving (2010), and München 7 (2004). Lupano completed his studies in 1993 at the prestigious Teatro Stabile di Torino, which was under the direction of Luca Ronconi, marking the beginning of his artistic journey as a theater performer before branching out into film and television.
His breakout role came in 2000 when he starred in The Prince's Manuscript, directed by Roberto Andò. In 2004, he appeared on the big screen again in E ridendo l'uccise, directed by Florestano Vancini, and Sotto falso nome, another project by Andò. Lupano's television career includes notable appearances in the miniseries Regina dei fiori (2005) and the Canale 5 series RIS 4 - Delitti imperfetti (2008), along with the miniseries La stella della porta Accanto, aired in September 2008 on Rai 1. He participated in the film La papessa, directed by Sönke Wortmann, in 2009.
In the fall of 2010, he starred in the first season of Paura di amare on Rai 1, reprising his role in the second season in 2013. From 2017 to 2018, Lupano featured prominently in the series Sacrificio d'amore, playing Corrado Corradi, who navigates a love triangle involving his wife Silvia and a worker, Brando Prizzi. More recently, from 2018 to 2021, he portrayed Luciano Cattaneo in the afternoon soap opera Il paradiso delle signore on Rai 1.
