Jimpa Sangpo Bhutia, born on July 18, 1998, is a talented Indian filmmaker of Tibetan heritage, making waves in the Indian film industry for the past three years. Hailing from Dehradun, India, Jimpa pursued his passion for filmmaking at the Asian Academy of Film & Television in Noida, where he honed his skills and creativity.
His most recent project, "Dev-Ansh," garnered him significant recognition, earning the title of 'Best Film Director' at his college's annual awards ceremony. In addition to this honor, Jimpa has made noteworthy contributions to various prominent projects, including "MTV Forbidden Angels," "Saale-Aashiq," and "Dukaan." He has also had the privilege of working alongside acclaimed director Imtiaz Ali and the esteemed writing duo Siddharth-Garima, renowned for their involvement in the acclaimed film "Raamleela."
Currently based in Mumbai, Jimpa is diligently preparing for his upcoming feature film, "It Never Rains in June."
