Mark Costello
Mark Costello embarked on his professional acting career in Los Angeles in 1983, landing his first role as the "Starter" in "Hot Dog...the Movie." Over the years, he amassed an impressive portfolio of work, securing numerous co-starring and guest appearances across a variety of episodic television series. His credits include notable shows such as "Murder She Wrote," "Dynasty," "Knots Landing," "Who's the Boss," "LA Law," "Full House," "Seventh Heaven," "ER," "N.Y.P.D. Blue," "The West Wing," and "Criminal Minds." Additionally, Mark was featured in recurring roles on series like "Bay City Blues," "JAG," and "First Monday."
In 1990, he signed a three-year contract for the FOX youth drama "Tribes," solidifying his presence in the television landscape. A talented stage actor as well, Mark received acclaim in the theater community, winning Best Actor in a Feature Role from Stage Scene LA for his performances in "Finding Fossils" and "John is a Father" at The Road Theatre, as well as for "Mom's Dead" at Sacred Fools. His portrayal in Edward Albee's "A Delicate Balance" at the Odyssey Theatre, alongside Susan Sullivan and David Selby, contributed to the production winning the LA Drama Critics Circle McCulloh Award for Best Revival.
In 2017, Mark relocated to Atlanta, where he appeared in films such as "Yes, God, Yes," "Our Friend," and the independent feature "Charles Sloan," in which he played the lead role. This film was recognized at the 2022 Raleigh Film and Arts Festival, winning Best Full Length Feature Film.
