Bonita Rajpurohit is a multifaceted talent known for her work as a writer, director, actor, and editor. Hailing from Rajasthan, she initially made her mark in the modeling industry, appearing in various television and digital advertisements. In 2019, her beauty and charisma earned her the prestigious title of Miss Trans Queen India.
With a desire to create her own opportunities, Bonita joined 1719 Film Factory in 2020, where she began her journey in filmmaking. She made her acting and editing debut in the 2023 film "It's All In Your Head." Her first directorial venture was a fashion film for URBANIC, showcasing her versatility and creative vision.
Bonita's talent has not gone unnoticed; she was awarded the QDrishti Film Grant at the Kashish Film Festival, allowing her to refine her script for the upcoming short film "IYKYK" under the guidance of acclaimed mentor Alankrita Srivastava. Production for "IYKYK" is set to commence in February 2024, backed by funding from Lotus Visual Productions.
In addition to her solo projects, Bonita is also co-writing and co-directing a miniseries titled "Blah Blah Blah" alongside Dhruv Solanki, where she contributes to several episodes as both an actor and editor.
