Marian Turski

Marian Turski, a prominent Polish-Jewish historian, journalist, and Holocaust survivor, has made significant contributions to the fields of history and journalism. Turski was the editor-in-chief of Sztandar Młodych, the leading daily publication of the Union of Polish Youth, during the years 1956 and 1957. Following this role, he became a key columnist for Polityka, a weekly magazine known for its moderate critique, where he led the historical department starting in 1958.
