Anthony Chan Yau
Anthony Chan Yau is a prominent actor from Hong Kong, well-known for his role as the drummer in the popular band Wynners. In 1981, he partnered with fellow musician Kenny Bee to establish a film production company, which produced the comedy "Monkey Business." Chan’s career took a significant turn in 1983 when he joined Shaw Brothers, where he undertook the production of "Let’s Make Laugh," a notable work directed by Alfred Cheung Kin-Ting. This collaboration led to the formation of a new production company between Chan and Cheung.
Among Chan's most notable achievements is the film "A Fishy Story," which featured performances by Kenny Bee and the acclaimed actress Maggie Cheung Man-Yuk. Cheung's performance in this film earned her the Best Actress award at the Hong Kong Film Awards, highlighting the project's impact on the industry.
