Jean Claudio (28 March 1927 – 11 January 1992) was a celebrated French actor whose career began at a remarkably young age. At just ten years old, he made his cinematic debut portraying the Tsarevich, the son of Tsar Nicholas II, in the film *The Imperial Tragedy*. His talent quickly garnered attention, and by 1938, at the age of eleven, he took on the role of Mathieu Sorgue in Christian-Jaque's *Les Disparus de Saint-Agil*.
Claudio's dedication to his craft led him to the prestigious Paris Conservatory, where he showcased his skills as Chérubin in *Le Mariage de Figaro* at the age of fourteen. His career flourished internationally, particularly in the United States, where he became recognized for his diverse range of performances.
In addition to acting, Claudio was also a talented writer. He published a collection of poetry titled *Les faux joies* in 1950 and authored several novels, including *The Hot Season*, *Les Torts Reciprocals*, *Monsieur Damoclès*, and *L'inconnu de Genève*.
