Damian Kearney is an accomplished actor who recently showcased his talents in the Abbey Theatre's production of *Emma*, under the direction of Claire O’Reilly. His screen work is diverse, featuring roles in *Harry Wild 2* directed by Emer Conroy, *Her­self* by Phyllida Lloyd, *The Wind That Shakes the Barley* directed by Ken Loach, and the acclaimed series *Love/Hate*, which was helmed by David Caffrey and Anthony Byrne.

On stage, Kearney has made significant contributions to several prominent productions. He starred in *Stones in His Pockets*, directed by Ian McElhinney at the Gaiety Theatre, and performed at the Abbey Theatre in *Oedipus* directed by Wayne Jordan, and *This Beautiful Village*, directed by David Horan. His repertoire includes notable works such as *The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui*, *The Government Inspector*, *The Comedy of Errors*, and *Richard II*. He has also collaborated with Cheek By Jowl in *Troilus and Cressida* and has graced the Royal Shakespeare Company stage in *Hamlet*, *Julius Caesar*, and *Love In A Wood*. Kearney’s own play, *The Flamboyant Bird*, was directed by Charlie Bonner for Fishamble.

Recently, he appeared in *The Summer I Robbed a Bank*, directed by Sophie Motley at the Everyman Theatre, part of the Cork Midsummer Festival, adapted from David O’Doherty's original work. Kearney honed his craft at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
