Nelson Franklin
Born to screenwriter and director Howard Franklin, Nelson Franklin has entertainment in his blood, with his stepmother being DJ Anne Litt. He completed his high school education at Campbell Hall School in Studio City, California, before pursuing a degree at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Franklin's breakthrough came with a recurring role as Nick, the IT specialist in NBC's beloved series The Office. His talent quickly led him to a series regular position on the short-lived FOX comedy Traffic Light, where he shared the screen with fellow Office alum David Denman, known for his role as Pam's ex-fiancé, Roy.
In addition to his television work, Franklin has engaged in various creative endeavors, including a humorous short for Funny or Die that parodied a commercial for a fictional service called the Dudes-N-Bros Talking Points System, designed to help non-dudes and non-bros navigate conversations with their more stereotypical counterparts.
His impressive résumé includes co-starring in the CBS sitcom The Millers and guest appearances on popular shows such as FOX's New Girl, HBO's political satire Veep, and the hit series Black-ish and Abby's. With a diverse range of roles and a knack for comedy, Nelson Franklin continues to make a mark in the entertainment industry.
