She is the daughter of Gilberto Elias Santos, a real estate consultant, and Silvana Taques, an educator. Her journey into the entertainment industry began at the tender age of four, when a talent scout spotted her during a supermarket trip with her mother, leading to her first agency representation. By five, she had already made a mark, winning the "Projeto Passarela" contest against 300 competitors.

Larissa's television debut came in 2006, where she appeared as herself in the GNT series "Mothern." That same year, she showcased her talent in the theater in "A Noviça Rebelde." Her early career included notable roles such as young Dalva de Oliveira in "Dalva e Hervelto: uma Canção de Amor" and Lequinha in "Na Fama e na Lama."

In 2011, she took her first significant step into film with "Essa Maldita Vontade de Ser Pássaro" and gained further recognition in "O Palhaço," which was Brazil's entry for the 2013 Academy Awards. Her role as Maria Joaquina in the hit children’s soap opera "Carrossel," which aired in 2012, solidified her status as a household name.

Over the years, Larissa has released her debut album, "Com Você," and starred in various successful projects, including "Cúmplices de um Resgate," where she played dual roles. Her performances earned her multiple accolades, including the Troféu Imprensa for "Revelation Actress." As of December 2015, she extended her contract with SBT, continuing to captivate audiences across Brazil.
