Marcela Alejandra Bovio García is a talented Mexican vocalist, violinist, and songwriter who has made significant contributions to the symphonic metal genre. Currently, she is an integral part of two prominent Dutch bands: Stream of Passion and MaYaN. Marcela’s musical journey began in 1995 when she became a member of Hydra, a Mexican metal ensemble where she showcased her dual talents in singing and playing the violin.
In 1999, Hydra released an EP titled "Bosquejo," marking an early milestone in her career and establishing her presence in the metal music scene. Over the years, Marcela has gained recognition for her powerful voice and exceptional musicianship, which have helped her stand out within the competitive world of symphonic metal.
