Chelsea Rendon

Chelsea Rendon, an accomplished actress hailing from Montebello, California, began her career at a remarkably young age. At just seven years old, she landed a leading role in the award-winning film "No Turning Back," where her portrayal of Cristina garnered significant acclaim. Throughout her childhood, Chelsea continued to build her resume with appearances in popular television series such as "E.R.," "The Shield," and "Judging Amy."

As she transitioned into adulthood, Chelsea starred in Disney's inspirational film "McFarland, USA," showcased her talents in the Netflix original "Bright," and had a recurring role on Freeform's critically acclaimed series "The Fosters." However, she is perhaps best known for her performance as Ruthie in the Oscar-nominated film "A Better Life."

More recently, Chelsea takes on the role of Mari, a socially conscious activist, in the STARZ drama "Vida," which explores the lives of two Mexican-American sisters living in East Los Angeles. Sharing the screen with Mishel Prada and Melissa Barrera, the series has been praised for its representation of the Latinx community.

Inspired by powerful actresses such as Viola Davis, Mariska Hargitay, and Taraji P. Henson, Chelsea aspires to create and direct her own projects in the future. Outside of her acting career, she enjoys practicing karate, savoring tacos from the best local spots, and catching up on her favorite TV shows.
