Graham Bidstrup
Graham Leslie "Buzz" Bidstrup, born on August 30, 1952, is a prominent figure in the Australian music scene, celebrated for his roles as a musician, songwriter, music producer, and talent manager. His career took off in the mid-1970s when he became a key member of the rock band The Angels, contributing to their success from 1976 to 1981. Following his time with The Angels, Bidstrup played with The Party Boys between 1983 and 1984, before joining Gang Gajang, where he had multiple stints from 1984 to 2010 and continues to be involved today.
In addition to his performance career, Bidstrup has made significant contributions behind the scenes as a talent manager. He has worked with notable artists such as Jimmy Little, Nathan Cavaleri, and Diana Ah Naid, helping to guide their careers and amplify their musical voices. From 2005 to 2015, he served as the CEO of the Jimmy Little Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Indigenous Australians. He also founded Uncle Jimmy Thumbs Up Ltd, where he continues to influence the industry as its Managing Director. Through his various roles, Buzz Bidstrup has left an indelible mark on the Australian music landscape.
