Lora Logic, originally named Susan Whitby and born circa 1960 in Wembley, London, is a distinguished British saxophonist, vocalist, and songwriter. She gained prominence as a key member of the iconic punk band X-Ray Spex, where she contributed significantly by composing the saxophone arrangements for their groundbreaking debut album, *Germfree Adolescents*. This album, released in 1978, is celebrated for its innovative sound and lyrical depth, solidifying X-Ray Spex's place in music history.

After her tenure with X-Ray Spex, Logic embarked on a new musical journey by establishing her own group, Essential Logic. In 1979, the band released a full-length album that showcased her unique style and artistic vision.
