He began his educational journey at İzmir Private Turkish College and later attended Mehmet Seyfi Eraltay High School. He further honed his craft at the Hacettepe University State Conservatory, where he participated in creative workshops led by influential figures like William Gaskill.

After completing his studies, Beşikçioğlu embarked on his professional career in various state theaters, ultimately serving as the head of the Diyarbakır State Theatre from 1995 to 1996. His filmography includes notable works such as "Eve Giden Yol 1914," "Barda," "Vali," "Hayat Var," "Kurtlar Vadisi Filistin," and the acclaimed "Bal," which won the prestigious Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
