Tina Guo

Tina Guo is a renowned cellist, celebrated for her exceptional skills on both acoustic and electric cellos, as well as for her work as a recording artist and composer. With a career that spans multiple genres, she has made a significant impact on the music world through her innovative performances and integration of technology in her art. Tina's contributions can be heard prominently in various blockbuster films, television shows, and video game soundtracks, where she often serves as a featured soloist.

Her musical journey began at the tender age of three in Shanghai, China, where she first learned to play the piano. At five, she moved to the United States, where she took up the violin under her mother’s guidance. By the age of seven, Tina had transitioned to studying the cello with her father, Lu-Yan Guo. Her dedication to her craft led her to pursue professional training under Eleonore Schoenfeld at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California, where she earned a full scholarship and was recognized as a Governor's Scholar for her outstanding academic achievements.
